WILD GOOSE SPORT FISHING TEAM
With Capt. Gene Wilgus behind the controls, the Wild Goose
Sport fishing Team will have no problems not only locating but landing the big ones!
With this kind of power and comfort the boys can sit back and
relax until "big" moment. The "Wild Goose" is a 46' Bertram Sportfisherman, and is one of the nicest appointed
Sportfishermen available on the Eastern Shore. The interior is designed for your comfort, including air-conditioning.
The spacious cockpit, with fighting chair, was designed with the fisherman in mind. She has a full state-of-the-art electronics. She is powered by twin 700 HP
diesels for a fast, 27 knot cruise, and comfortable ride. Penn International fishing gear, 50's & 80's.
With Firstmate Scott A. Derr maning the rigs and the line, you can relax right up to the last moment. No worries here!
Scott has over 8 years experience and many wins under his belt including the White Marlin Open. He has fished the entire length of the eastern coast. Scott has
rigged everything we are going to need, Let's go getem boys!

Well it's all in the history books now! We didn't quite make the winners circle but we were able to catch
more fish than 90% of all boats entered in the tournament!. The bigest problem we encountered was we
were only able to find blue fin.(if you consider that a problem!) The yellow fin were much further south than we were willing to travel. The
one spreader bar constructed by First Mate Scott Derr was an absolute KILLER! It was responsible for 5 of the 7 fish caught over the two days of fishing. Most importantly,
an excellant time was had by all and the Wild Goose Sport Fishing Team worked together as a team!!
